Fogas 1Bedroom Apartment in heart of city

Everything was ok, except for the internet connection, which was not working and they did not fix it even after sending several messages.

Location.

The apartment was very dirty (hair in the shower, mold on the showercurtain, spiderwebs in the corners, dirty sheets, large stains in the sofa etc. etc.). In addition, there was no trash can or soap in the kitchen and the tap and toilet in the bathroom were broken. Also we weren’t informed about the renovations around the apartement. They drilled into the apartments, including ours. This woke us up every morning. We even had no electricity/airconditioning for a while while it was 31 degrees outside.

The staff were super helpful, even during the booking and communication process. The apartment was very close to many important landmarks, and a metro station is very close by. Several amenities are also very close, such as various supermarkets, drugstores etc., even a short walk away.

The bins and bad smell as soon as you enter the apartment complex. No lift is available. The bathroom sink tap was broken, as was the shower head, which kept splashing water everywhere while showering. There was a bad smell of stale smoke throughout the apartment, which was so bad that even our things that were left in our luggage absorbed the smell. Only one AC is available, to be used for the living room and the bedroom, so you have to leave the door open, as it would be too hot otherwise. Lack of privacy from the main door, as even though it is frosted glass, one can still see through it, which might make you feel unsafe especially during the night since you have to sleep next to it on the sofa bed. Lastly, the apartment was not very clean, with dust on the headboard, and also cobwebs and spiders in corners.

Location and photos before looked nice but…

Wow. Where to start. The smell that hits you. Weird mixture of damp and maybe cigarettes. Sofa was so disgusting with stains I couldn’t sit on it. Half of the kitchen cupboards were dodgy opening and with stains in them. A chair was completely. Bathroom tap was coming off. Toilet seat was broken. Stains on the wall. I couldn’t put more than four photos in otherwise I could document everything.

The already had coffee ready for us when we checked in. the staff was very friendly and we we’re able to check out at 11am and bring our luggage to their office so we could enjoy the day.

It was a little cold in the room and we were hoping they had some water bottles in the apartment which they hadn’t.
