Owl Booking Villa Guillermo - Rustic Stay

Good location, close to supermarkets etc. Owl booking were very communicative and responsive.

Air conditioning is on a timer and only works between 2pm-4pm and 9pm-8am. We were not made aware of this before our visit and it meant the rooms were extremely hot when trying to put our 1year old to bed at 7pm. Aside from the timer issue the air conditioning worked intermittently. We reported to Owl on our arrival that it was not working and the owner came out and fixed the issue but it continued to stop working and then start again unpredictably throughout our stay resulting in our baby going to sleep in a 31degree+ room on the last night with no way to cool it down. The kitchen was also full of ants every morning. We were meticulous not to leave any food out but they were still everywhere. Wi-Fi didn’t work, outdoor seating wasn’t very comfortable and the owners turned up unannounced the second morning, no explanation given, wandered around the outside buildings for 10minutes and then left.

Good value for money, better than expected in fact. Pool was clean. Felt safe. Good size fridge and freezer. Air con worked well. Great for a family of 5.

Only issue was the oven knob symbols had worn out so had difficulty operating the oven properly.
