Beach House Getaway - A Dreamers Paradise

- Zwischenreinigung war gegen (wirklich sehr! faire) Gebühr möglich - zur Straße hin Zaun, gut bei kleinen Kindern - sehr viel Platz, sowohl innen, als auch außen - Duplo für Kinder war vorhanden - unser Sohn war begeistert! - Sandspielzeug vorhanden - gute Infoblätter - Sandstrand fußläufig erreichbar - alles extrem! gepflegt und sauber - wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen :)

Well equipped, comfortable and spacious home.

I wish the beach was directly accessible from the house via a path.

This is a beautiful home away from home. At first it wasn’t easy to find the address per Google Maps short drive around the block we found it. So as you turn into Klein Krantz, pass the shop and restaurant on the right the very first house on the right. Google maps takes u to the bottom of the road (skip that part and look out for the shop and restaurant, the Vacant plot and then 1437 on ur right). Then the gate opens manually, you have to get into the yard and you will find the keys per the instructions. Sorry we looked for a bit and had to figure this out. Here goes and hope u will find this helpful. Onto the review. Really big bathrooms, 2 of the bathrooms have shower and 1 have bath rub (big enough for 2 people). The one bedroom (main bedroom) is big. All bedrooms have double/queen beds. Bedding & linen is clean and guest friendly. Open plan lounge and kitchen. All necessities of a kitchen can be found to cook up a storm. Beautiful wrap around patio (the boma no longer exists as the garden furniture moved to the patio area). The braai /bbq area is around the back by kitchen, nice spot to braai and chill. No dishwasher (okay we survived doing dishes by hand), so grateful for the wash machine to wash our beach clothes. Communicate with Christa before the time if you need any extras like cleaning service etc. she is very professional and helpful. At first we were skeptical about the area but drove around and all looks good. We walked next door to the shop and restaurant/pub and chatted to some amazing locals, and they were reassuring area is safe. Beach is 300m walk, its not a beach to swim but take long walks and enjoy the view. The currents are very strong and no life guards. But Victoria Bay is 16 mins away or Buffelsbaai or Wilderness beaches. Well plenty beaches around the area to swim. All in all house was great, water wise garden. We had a great and memorable time.

Be sure you’re happy to be outside of Wilderness in a quieter suburb and close to the beach but a natural view versus sea views (it worked for us)

This is an absolute gem; home away from home and we felt right at home in this beautiful house that offers great space and privacy. The house is bright and airy, immaculately clean and has quality furniture and fittings. It is excellently located on the main route between Wilderness and neighbouring towns. You have a cafe and pizzeria right next door and fall asleep with the sound of crashing waves. You will be spoiled with a mere 5-minute walk to a very private beach. Christa is a very responsive and caring host and was very kind, helpful and welcoming. We left this little paradise with heavy hearts! Do not hesitate to book. This has been one of the nicest holiday homes we stayed in. Cannot wait to return.

A Hidden Gem! This place is an absolute gem! The pictures don’t do it justice, it's even better in person. The house is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Having a restaurant right next door and a little spaza shop for essentials like milk and bread is super convenient. Plus, the beach is just a short 5-minute walk down the road! Perfect location, great amenities. I’ll definitely be back!
