Albatross House - Comfy Home with Parking

The location, the house was fab, the parking, the communication on WhatsApp was great, easy access to the key box with clear instructions, I'm very happy & would recommend to anyone who's staying in slough,

Minor issue about the top floor shower which was mentioned to me earlier, not a major issue as I used the downstairs bathroom but it was a little inconvenient as there was 6 of us staying and we love hot showers rather than bath tub ,

Keys were found on the door already. We had the code to enter the building but found the keys at the door

Ease of communication when we had uestions during the stay. The staff were very busy with loads of clients but they eventually responded

Overall it is very nice property, very good neighbourhood .. The property is very big with 3 bedrooms and 3 washrooms & a small garden .Very well maintained. Very well managed and maintained by Hostly. I got full support from them all the time.

But there are some areas of improvement like Internet connectivity is very poor, there is no WiFi broadband. Only one small router with unlimited internet via sim. If you want to watch Netflix or YouTube you will face some challenges. The Wi-Fi is not available on 1st and 2nd floor. The toilet fittings are very old and some time it will not function properly.

The property was ok for our stay after picking my daughter up from the airport . It was warm and situated not far from the airport . The bedrooms are spacious .

The dining area , table and chairs are not really useable as there is not enough room . The stairs are steep . The beds are not all comfortable . The towels were not all clean . The WiFi signal was poor. Even with the extra box that was provided . All programmes ie Netflix kept losing signal . Also phones would not always work . Although we were informed they had a problem after we complained . It did not really help with having children needing entertaining all the time . I know you need sercurity , but felt being spied on with the camera on the front door.

Great location for us, a cozy and welcoming house with a small garden.

Wi-fi wasn’t working properly. The temporary portable router for internet connection was extremly slow and out of battery in 12 hours. We get too many warnings about not exceeding noise levels after nine o’clock and about proper use of a double parking space - even though Hostly knew we would arrive in one car. I wasn’t comfortable in giving all the passport info online and paying a 250£ deposit, wich was not mentioned on booking.com, but Hostly send the deposit back to me after a week.

Location was accessible for London. Good bedroom space. Fans were provided which helped with the heat.

Cleanliness could have been better. Not enough crockery and utensils. A good few small issues which could have easily been avoided but did impact on our stay.
