Beautiful apartment in the heart of Oslo!

Sorry to say - we liked nothing.

The worst experience ever! We left even though we had paid for 3 nights and had to pay again for another nicer stay. t is a rough neighborhood. Drug addicts staying just below the bridge - a few meters from front door. Within 5 minutes we were approached twice by drug dealers asking if we would buy anything (and as a family with child and a small dog, we do not at all look like potential customers). The apartment is so small, should be termed 'a small messy and crowded studio' and not an apartment. It is not what what we had expected from the photos and the description. Photos must have been taken with wide angle or so. It was so small and crowded + extra furnitures have been inserted after the photos were taken. There were no room for our bags and stuffs. No view from the windows - looking into backyard brick walls. It was raining heavyly and because there are no gutters, it was so noisy (64 db measured). Heavy smell of scented candles. No table floor in kitchenette. Trying to do the dishes, there is only about 30cm from the sink to the electric stove. The electric plug in living room was damaged by last guests, we were told, however I can see that this was also mentioned by other guests weeks ago... In order not to let this place totally ruin our impressions of Oslo, we decided to move out. We cannot recommend renting this place.

It’s close to the Oslo sentrum. The owner is very hands-on, ensuring everything is okay. Kitchen needs available, even the bathroom is complete with shampoo and soaps. Highly recommended!
