La Terrazza sul Corso - Premium Apartment

Good location. Lots of space in bedrooms and living area. Very handy being able to do our laundry.

The shower had no ventilation and smelled mouldy. Pictures made it look better than reality. Upstairs looked a bit dated and not as good as pictures.

Fantastic, huge rooftop terrace, shade and sun, room to eat, bbq, sit about, wash and dry clothes and so on. Great central location near shops and restaurants. Spacious homey rooms.

These are not real dislikes but future guests should know that access is up two flights of stairs and access to the terrace is a spiral staircase: it would not suit the infirm (or toddlers). The kitchen is small which would make serious cooking tricky. There is one lavatory and no lock, which just might not suit some people.

Our host had sent the entry codes 2 days prior to arrival and right after that, the only check-in was completed. By using the codes there's no risk of losing the keys :-) Getting to the city from the Airpot we recommend trains. The train station is about 10 mins walking from the terminal, you can be in the Central Station (Pzza Matteotti) w/i 8-10 minutes. The singlticket is 1,3 EUR pp. Taxi would cost about 30-35 EUR. From the train station it is easy to find the apartment cca. 10 mins walking - it is just next to Restaurant Taccas. The apartment is huge, beds are comfy. Kitchen is well equipped for a one-week stay, with Nespresso Machine, toaster, washing machine on the Terrace. The terrace is huge and excellent for having breakfast/diner together. Just like on the photos maybe even better! Food shopping opportunity is on the other side of the Corso, less than 1mins. IT is ipen 08AM/23PM. Bus stop of line #1 is for 25 meters from the main entrance. Getting to Poetto Beach take Bus #5ZE or PEX operating quite frequently. Download the Cagliari Transportation App where you can buy daily/weekly/seasonal passes. Ticket control is very frequent we strongly suggest not to risk the penalty. For people traveling from Cagliari to the Airport in the late afternoon or in the evening: there is a great luggage locker opposite the train station with lovely staff and relaxation area. As far as I recall it operates 0/24. Out of the question the best beach is Poetto. You can get there by Bus 5ZE or PEX w/i 30-40 minutes from the apartment. Very great restaurants nearby the Apt although they take no reservations. Usually, the restaurants are full b/w 20:00-21:30 but out this period you will ill always find free tables for the whole family/group. Last but very not least our host Ernesto was very helpful, he is fast responsive. He also offered help in case of having any issue entering in the Apartment however, we arrived around 24:00.

Well... as some of the previous travellers already mentioned there are quite a lot of stairs in the Apt. We understand that this is and old house and there was just no other way to build it in. But please note that there are 38 steps from the street level to get in the apartments. And additional 14 steps from the living room up to the Terrace. Although, we loved every minute of our stay there, but maybe families travelling with small children and/or elder travellers shall consider about this seriously. Also, there are no banisters/handrails on the terrace/stairs this could be really dangerous for small children or may cause unexpected difficulties for elder travellers. We also asked from the Agency only one additional badsheet and a pillowcase as our 22 y/o Son and his 20 you Sis wanted to sleep separately. Which we think is understandable in their ages. Our request was quite harshly denied by the Agency stating that the Owner of the Apartment does not want guests to use the Sofa in the livingroom for sleeping. So, we used it w/o badsheet :-) To be honest this was not just surprising but disapoointing.

The location couldn’t be better! Right at the heart of old town on the Main Street. Even though on the Main Street with restaurants, bedrooms were really quiet being on the back of the Appartment with extra doors for sound proofing. Excellent ACs. Rooftop terrace is amazing and big. By far the best Appartment in Cagliari for visiting

I cannot think of anything. Everything was perfect. And host really responsive

The stay here was very nice ! The location is perfect in the center of the city, many restaurants, bars and shops. Parking spots are not far away and also not too expensive. The terrace is a dream and we spent a very nice time here.

The kitchen and the bathroom is a little bit small.

Excellent location, minutes from everything in Cagliari. Lovely roof top terrace for relaxing in aswell. Well equipped with everything. The shelf check in is really simple aswell. The apartment is well finished aswell, nice google tv, nice shower, really good air conditioning...

There was a smell from the shower room drain - but this was more the building itself, not the actual apartment and once the water is running it goes away. A very minor thing.
