Flat Opposite Wakefield College with FREE Parking and 5 Mins Walk to Train Station

This was my second time staying in the property. The team are well organised and send you the check in details beforehand with a WhatsApp communication channel. The flat is always spotless and comes with nice extra touches (biscuits, tea/coffee, cleaning supplies). The location is quiet yet within walking distance of the city centre. Would highly recommend.

Victorian house with historical significance. Very clean and modern inside, with stylish adaptable and moveable furniture. Great Location close to the train station and taxi rank and bus station. No need to hire a car. 5 minute walk to the city center, supermarkets, restaurants, 2 shopping centers. Located on edge of town in a well maintained historic part of town in great quiet location next to the County Hall, college and cenotaph and green spaces to sit less than a minute walk away. Many blue plaque buildings in this area to point out the historic significance of buildings. 1 parking space per room for guests. I did have to call when I first got there with an issue that was resolved immediately. Excellent customer service and easy to connect with via telephone and/or WhatsApp.

Lighting again personal preference, in the Living room it was yellow and dim for myself at night, if you wanted to read or write it was difficult after dark. No lamps in the living room area. No change of towels were received in the week, I was expecting a change of towels. (Not sure if that was part of the booking or not but assumed it was, I am sure if I had called they would have been changed). The steps up to the main door, with the entry code on the right hand side at the top of the stairs was a bit of a juggle for me with a bag, as there was no hand rail on the right side just a lower wall. I am a bit wobbly on my feet and I had to hold onto the door handle and lean a little to enter the code. For me, it would have been much better with the entry code on the left side where the railing is, it probably would not be an issue for others.

Very central, but quiet. Easy to walk into town. Convenient parking.

Was clean spacious and quiet for a short stay.

Very spacious, well appointed, with virtually all we needed. Great sound insulation from outside or other flats. I was a great “home base” serving us for almost 3 weeks and felt like home.

The supplied wifi was very patchy / inconsistent. Chairs in lounge were comfortable for short sits, but not for “lounging” - couch was good. Also, hand basin in bathroom had virtually no water pressure. These are minor issues, and did not affect our stay as we mitigated these.
