1 Bed Urmston Home Free Parking

The apartment was in a great location, close to Urmston centre and the motorway network. The apartment was a good size, clean and tidy. The communications were great with very clear instructions.

The stairs were very steep and narrow which was quite hard with a lot of luggage and a little baby. The apex ceilings were a bit low but only because I'm very tall. The sofa bed can't really be used as a bed as it's uncomfortable

The apartment was as seen is the pics. It was clean and the bed very comfortable with plenty of clean towels and pillows of varying softness etc.

Before I booked this apartment, I messaged on 15 Feb. asking "how many steps or flights of stairs are there to the apartment"? The reply stated "We're on the 1st floor so just 1 small flight of stairs". I booked the apart believing this to be true, but when I arrived I was confronted with a steep narrow staircase of 20 steps, followed by another 3 steps; once inside the apart there is another staircase of 11 more steps. I climbed these 34 STEPS with my cabin case & small bag. PLUS, there is a step in and out of the bedroom and a further 3 steps to the lounge/kitchen and bathroom area. Friends and family, of various ages, visited me at the apart. and all found the stairs to be difficult. NOTE: an average house has approx 15 steps. The apartment is certainly NOT on the 1st floor but on the 2nd floor (in the roof) therefore, it is TOTALLY FALSE to state otherwise and is not "1 small flight". I DEFINATELY WOULD NOT HAVE BOOKED this apartment if I had known the truth about the stairs. After contacting the host, I emailed them on 22 April to another address they gave me, re above and to advise re; dripping shower - wobbly stair railings (not very reassuring) & the need for info re streaming tv and other things. 2 May - still no reply from the host, which does not surprise me because I had no replies to texts when I was there. MY VISIT WAS RUINED BY ALL THE STAIRS and I limited going in & out because of them. They were difficult with shopping but a nightmare when I arrived with cabin luggage. The day I left a friend came to take my luggage downstairs and to the car. Also 'Free Parking' is onroad, outside neighbouring houses. I hope to be contacted soon, acknowledging I WAS TOTALLY MISLEAD about the stairs in this apartment, which lead to me making an inappropriate booking. A refund would be appreciated before I take this matter further, ie to The Consumer Rights Directive.

Excellent location, a short 10min walk to the bars and restaurants on the main high street. Easy parking. Plenty of room, large tv, spacious bedroom, large open plan kitchen as part of living area. Good shower and plenty of hot water!

Great layout and furnishings / comfy & quality bedding Bits and bobs to help with cooking / cleaning - always handy if staying anywhere just for one night Shower gel and brolly to use if you forget your own. Nice touches

Loved everything! I struggled to find the switches to turn the oven on but other than that everything was great.

Amazing little apartment. Really comfortable and stylish- well equipped. Everything is very modern and clean. The owners/staff where very helpful and quickly responded to any messages. Would really recommend staying here and would definitely stay again if I was staying in Manchester. Would recommend for a couple or pair.

Nothing, absolutely perfect.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, the decor and layout was lovely. It was in a very convenient area too.

I couldn't find anything that I didn't like

Great amount of space. Good to have the option of a second bed. Kitchen diner living room was great.

Sofa bed was a little uncomfortable. Tank in the landing cupboard is noisy. Small shower head support was a bit loose.

It is clean and the location is nice. It is near bus stops, parks, shopping centers. The facilities are working. The owners were responsive, and they have prepared instructions in advance that are easy to follow.

Tenants below us complained hearing noises from our unit as the floor on the living room is not solid concrete. Might not be suitable if you have children who will be running around.
