I liked the apartment, so the shared bathroom, the kitchen and the room. Everything was clean. Also the apartment was very cozy.

I didn't like many things: - even if the apartment had 4 rooms (for 8 guests), there were only cutlery and plates for 4 people - there was coffee machine but we couldn't use it because there was no coffee filters - washing machine was not working - when we arrived we found linen still in the washing machine and in the dryer - there was also no space to hang our washed clothes on the drying rack BUT WHAT WE DIDN'T LIKE THE MOST IS THAT THE HOST DIDN'T REPLY TO THE QUESTIONS I ASKED THROUGH WHATSAPP DURING MY STAYING, AND EVEN BEFORE THEY WERE VERY LATE IN RESPONDING.

A bit challenging to check in if you don’t speak Spanish but the lady was very patient with me and very friendly The room overlooked a courtyard that was quite noisy

On a positive note, it is a very clean accommodation with a shared bathroom and the possibility of using a shared kitchen. The size of the room is also fine.

Unfortunately the landlady only speaks Spanish and not English. This made communication very difficult and the arrival was also stressful due to the remote control. The room faced the inner courtyard, which didn't mean a pleasant view. We didn't like the intense smell of perfume in the room and hallway. The location is central, but it borders on a problem area which we didn´t know.

The room is part of a shared appartment in a very colourful but rather rundown district of Bilbao, not far from the old city and from the Abando train station and through the very nearby Zabalburu station only a few stops per train from San Mamés bus terminal.

If the price of this room were about half of what we now paid (which would come to what we were charged for a similar accommodation in the centre of Alicante!), then no complaints. But now, with a totally closed-in apartment without any outside view, a much too soft bed that even was quite wobly, unpleasant smells throughout the building, it was really overpriced.
