Good location. Easy to get to without a car

Small and cosy. Quiet location

No instructions for cooker, so could not use the induction hob

Close to the sea and shops

No corkscrew so bought one and left it

Very clean and comfortable, comprehensive arrival instructions and host responded quickly and allowed later check out which we greatly appreciated

Minor issues (no shampoo provided and very little liquid soap in the bathroom), also no stove instructions (just the stove warranty) in instruction book provided. Beds creaked a lot.

The most important of details, the number of beds, was incorrect so I had to sleep on the floor. No hair drier. The only place I have EVER stayed just doesn't provide a hair drier. Made getting three girls ready for a wedding a bit tricky. Likewise no mirrors apart from one high up on the landing. Quite short of crockery. Only 4 plates for example. Bit of a pain f you used one for food preparation. No coat hooks. Upstairs bedroom window wouldn't close. Cleanliness not great. Cobwebs on ceiling and dust under and around furniture.

It had everything needed in terms of home from home appliances beds were very comfortable.

The back patio door was a struggle to open the lock to get outside, the bathroom lock needed a screw in because it fell out and couldn’t open it luckily my other half pushed it back in from the outside, also there was a strip of wood at the top of the stairs that was loose and I almost tripped over it so that needed securing.

Tywyn was lovely, and we really enjoyed the location. The shower was so lovely. The instructions and the menus and info left for visiting was helpful. Comfy beds and bedding.

Unclean, I notified who I believed to be the owner via the mobile number left after booking, I was concerned he wouldn't know what state the cleaners leave it in. I sent photos as requested, but no response since. It was super dusty, dog hairs on the kids bedding. One of the kids sheets was stained too. So didn't look like it had been changed. The sides were gritty and dirty so I wiped them down straight away. Glass side table dirty and still had cup marks. The property looked inside like it was still in the middle of renovating, the walls and wood looked unfinished. The garden was unkempt and nothing like the photos and the table was broken so unusable. So we never bothered with the BBQ. What was so strange was that there was no shelf or cupboard in the bathroom for any cosmetics. We had to use a kitchen side to store them and take them into bathroom as we needed. And no where to put toothbrushes or paste. One mirror at top of stairs, None in bedroom and no where near plugs for doing hair or applying makeup. The art was questionable! We made do and enjoyed our stay over all but these little and yet important finishing touches would of made it perfect. Ide suggest getting a ladies eye over the property for corrections to make it a better stay for families. And keep check on cleaners doing their job. Hope this feedback helps the owner perfect the property as it could be a lovely cottage.

We had a lovely stay in Y Bwthyn Bach cottage. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a lovely break. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed sitting in the garden with a glass of wine in the evening. Good dog walking and a lovely pub with great food nearby.

Nothing, no complaints whatsoever.
