2 Bed Ground Floor Apartment In Vilamoura

My husband and myself enjoyed a lovely stay in this beautiful apartment. It has it's own little garden and is just a few feet from the pool. The bathroom in particular was really nice. It looked newly done. The added bonus was the hot water. Any time we needed hot water it was there without it running cold like it does in other properties. So I took full advantage of the bath. Location of the property is pretty good, just a short walk to a Spar shop, Dominoes and other restaurants. The Marina is close by also. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

There wasn't much we didn't like. The only slight problem was with the tv. We only had 3 channels which weren't in English. An easy fix for this would be to bring a chrome cast or fire stick with you so you can watch Netflix etc. on nights where you just want to sit in and chill. Other really miner problem was with the toaster and the microwave. The toaster wouldn't stay down unless you held it down and the microwave wouldn't spin. These however are really miner issues and should not take away from the fact that this is a really nice apartment and ideal for a quiet holiday in the sun.

Well appointed ground floor apartment on a small complex a 10 minute walk into Vilamoura Marina. Two double bedrooms with single beds (a little hard) each with good storage, a safe, newly refurbished bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, reasonable sized lounge with large comfortable sofa, dining table, UK tv channels and Wi-Fi. Outside space with parasol, table and chairs leading to a small pool & grassed area with a few (8) sunbeds, ok for out of season (virtually had the pool to ourselves) but maybe a problem in school holidays etc! Lovely restaurant also serving just drinks, “Industria” just 150 yards to the right of complex. Also recommend the Pad Thai near the Spar (5 minute walk) and “The Fisherman’s Shack” near the Marina! Just 150 yards on from the Spar another supermarket “Jafers” which has a quality butchers inside! Also recommend the coffee shop next door to the Spar for a healthy breakfast! Recommend you Download the Uber App for any takeaway deliveries and taxis, our return to the airport which takes 30 minutes was €14,00, a bargain. Overall we had a thoroughly enjoyable time, host Paul was great and his on-site person Lucia was also very helpful and communicative. We will use again although if Portuguese Border Control don’t sort out the electronic Passport barriers or at least provide a suitable number of staff for UK travellers, who aren’t all “jobsworths” we may just take our euros somewhere else!

Location of the appartment and the position on the ground floor with small own garden. A bit of privacy. When you want to swim, walk 3 meters and jump. It was clean with a totally new bathroom. Good beds. Good, very kind host. Nearby the center and marine in Vilamoura. Just a short walk.
