[San Giusto's Clock] Storico Appartamento

We stayed here before our cruise. We took the short cut by going down multiple levels of stairs lugging around our bags. But saved us a lot of time getting to the Trieste cruise port. Otherwise , can take a taxi or walk the long way down windy, narrow streets. We walked to the waterfront at night when we got there, found few eating places. Much cheaper than if we would have stayed in Venice. Perfect for me, my husband and 2 adult children.

Shower too tight but at least there’s 2 bathrooms.

Spacious, comfy beds, very quiet location and close to interesting areas and pedestrian streets

The remote access didn’t work, we had to call to get the code, and then the electronic key pad handle was difficult and unreliable

Location, layout and host responsiveness. Everything was very convenient and easy.

The sofa bed is not very comfortable

We didn’t get given a WIFI password and connection and once the electricity cut out for a couple of hours.

We were staying for one night. We found the apartment easily enough and gaining access was very efficient with Vickey. Parking is free on the road but it is tight. Everything was perfect in the apartment and was close to good restaurants definitely recommend it.

The apartment is in a beautiful old building in an historic neighbourhood. The apartment is impeccably clean and the self service check in and out is seemless. The host was kind and communicative. He checked in with us regularly to make sure that we had all that we needed. No hidden charges. All very straightforward.

The shower is very, very small. One guest who is a big man but not obese could not enter the shower. He had to stand outside of the shower and wash strategically. The other two of us manged to squeeze past the doors. We have middle aged beer bellies but are not exactly huge guys. The walk to the apartment is very steep, as is much of Trieste. It would be difficult for older guests or anyone with mobility issues.

Everything worked perfectly, from the check in procedure to the owner availability to provide me with all I needed, distance from center, the cleanliness.

Nothing to declare
