Dog Friendly A-frame Hot Tub Nature Views

The property was lovely! Had great views of the great outdoors, which made it a very nice change of pace for a city dweller like myself. However it gets DARK at night, and I was not used to that, but it was still very nice, and not controllable by management, that’s my own problem. The interior of the property was really clean, and is the first rental property I stayed at that had a nice comfy bed. I loved that it was pet friendly so I was able to bring my pups. Seeing them enjoy themselves made my husband and myself really happy. The dogs give it a 5 star review as well. It was nice that they also had some dog bowls available for use because I forgot mine. They also have plenty of clean linen and towels available, I love having a fresh towel to use. There is also a cute and very fun chair to spin around in. We really had a blast on that and are thinking of getting our own haha. This place is also only a few mins away from town, which made traversing around very easy. They have various board games to play with the family and a cute record player. Also love the nice touch of the cute drink fridge, they also provided water and sparkling water free of charge. So hospitable! They also have a hot tub, we didn’t use it though because we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the dogs alone in the house while we play in the hot tub. The property, as listed, is not fenced in, and my dogs have terrible recall so I was not going to let them roam around freely while I was in the tub. Overall a very cute and quiet place to relax for the weekend. We really enjoyed it here, and we will definitely need to come back. I’ll be referring all our friends here.

The only things we didn’t like were how steep the staircase to the upstairs loft area was and no gate/barrier to keep kiddos and doggos from falling down or going up, but a baby gate perhaps would be an easy fix. Lastly (not controllable by owners) is the road to get there. Maybe I didn’t read it in the listing but the road to get there was really scary to drive through at night, it’s pitch black, unpaved, bumpy, hilly, and one wrong move and you’re going down the ditch. Cars meant for all terrain would be able to drive through easily. I have a Prius, it made it but definitely scraped and was quite terrifying if you’re not used to it. Again this is not the owners fault at all, it’s my problem.

Location was perfect. Quiet, close to town, spectacular views. Clean & comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely return and recommend to others.

The road in very bumpy and the shower head could have been better.

Great spot, close to town, and lots of hiking. Lots of great touches, including table and chairs on the front and back decks for all-day sun. Very comfortable beds! Love the record player, games, etc. Overall very cute and comfy. Lots of dishware and cooking supplies. The hot tub is great and you get a great view of the night sky.

Not a "didn't like" but warning to other renters that you must have an SUV/4-wheel drive or better to access this place. There was no snow and it was just a little wet but the dirt road was super rough with big mud patches, and very large potholes/ruts. I don't think a regular car could make it on a regular day without scraping it up or getting stuck. From what we could tell, the walk to the paved road would be about 10 minutes (drive was about 3 minutes) and we only saw no parking signs, so probably further. If there was snow, you would definitely need snow shoes and it would be a TREK. If you have an SUV /truck/4-wheel drive then you are good to go. I recommend bringing wood and starters for the fireplace, enough was provided for a few hours but it's the only heat so bring your own in colder months.

The views and comfort of the beds was amazing. Sitting in the hot tub with the forest to gaze at was spectacular. And the sunsets! WOW!

The kitchen organization was a little scattered but everything we needed was there!
