Villa Maya Ubud, Peaceful Rice Field View

We've had a wonderful time in this beautiful villa, far enough from the noise and crazy traffic of Ubud, yet close enough to some great coffeshops and restaurants. The villa is perfectly clean, nicely decorated and with it's open living room and bathrooms a truely unique experience. Breakfast is freshly made each morning with a selection of Indonesian foods, fruits and juices. Thank you Iluh, Komang and Made for your kind hospitality!

Absolutely stunning and tranquil villa. Away from the madness of inner-Ubud but close enough to hop in a Grab taxi to go in whenever you want. Basic convenience stores and fruit stalls within walking distance, as well as great restaurants. The on-site care team were so lovely and attentive. Komang was our favourite part of the stay ☺️ She was a delight to have around and makes the best nasi/mie goreng. The pool is great for the kids and the grassy are with the raised pagoda is wonderful for playing with the kids and/or relaxing. Bathrooms and bedrooms are large and spacious.

The tiles around the pool are VERY slippery. Our kids (4 and 6 yo) seemed to keep slipping and banging themselves even by just walking. Our son fell and knocked his head which was a worry. There is no TV in the villa. This wasn’t an issue for us, but worth noting if others require one.

Beautiful property and amazing caretakers

I would happily go back and stay here. Miss the place, we build lovely memories. The host are very warm. Made us feel at home. Arranged massages, bikes etc at great prices with lots of ease. Simple breakfast but made with lots of love. Very flexible with timings. The house table with the view makes for perfect mornings. Very comfortable stay, lovely vibe, excellent pool and view.

This is by far the most beautiful place we have ever stayed in. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing and private place to stay - this is the one! A stunning two bedroom villa with a private pool overlooking the rice fields, you won't find another place like it. I would recommend this place for anyone who does not want to be on the main busy streets of central Ubud but wants to be close enough to enjoy everything Ubud has to offer. You can easily get to the main streets and shops by walking (approx 30 mins) or via local taxi bike. Thank you Iluh for all your assistance during our stay at Villa Maya - from organising our transfers to and from the villa as well as arranging to have a massage within the villa, we truly appreciate everything you did for us. You made our holiday into an amazing experience and we will definitely be back one day. Thank you again, for letting us check out late on our last day - this made our final day so easy and relaxing. Also, a special thanks to Komang for coming every day to cook us an amazing breakfast - this was so special for us! This will be our new "place to stay" when visiting Bali - we couldn't image staying anywhere else after this experience.

Clean property, actually looks like the photo. best if you need privacy. Pool was clean, best thing you get in private property is no time restriction for pool usage. Special thanks to Manager iluh.

Wahooo effect guaranteed! The Maya villa is a beautiful villa, very well maintained, with a superb view of the rice fields. It offers beautiful volumes while keeping an intimate side. The welcome was just perfect!!! A big thank you to Iluh for her smile and kindness: she was able to meet all our expectations and even more!! A big thank you also to Komang who prepared us every morning the best banana pancake we have ever eaten! So ... do not hesitate to stay in this villa with private pool ... you will not be disappointed
