Free Parking - San Gerardo cosy apartment

The apartment is renovated, is close to Monza and has a garage.

The apartment is compact and the furniture is basic (e.g. small TV, tough mattress, small sofa, unstable table, foldable chairs). The price is high for the quality.

This is a flat in a big residential building - with dozens other residential flats. The flat is nicely equipped, especially for longer stays (washing machine, iron, kitchen etc.). We appreciated the ability to check-in later in the evening. The host was responsive and hospitable. There is a self check-in procedure online and when completed you receive detailed instructions on where to get the keys, how to access the flat and the garage. Compared to hotel rooms, flat was quite big.

The building needs renovation - it's quite outdated (flat itself is in a much better condition). Bathroom is a bit small, especially the shower. We didn't enturely enjoy our stay, mostly due to 2 reasons: flat is right next to the elevator, so there is noise every time the elevator travels up or down. There was some noise from other flats in the morning as well, but nothing too crazy. But most importantly: the heating was not working. It was very cold, we turned the heating on, but it just wasn't working. We contacted the host, but he wasn't able to help - he mentioned the heating might be turned off during the night by the condominium due to global warming. There were no extra blankets available, so we had to cover ourselves with our coats.
