Bathroom tired but functional Heating wasn’t on on arrival and was very cold, maybe the cleaner could put it on for arrivals in Jan?

Great location. Everything we needed in the property would definitely stay again.

Comfortable and great location

It is in a great location for Buxton and surrounding areas. On a quiet street. Found all day street parking just around the corner. Apartment was lovely and warm and comfortable.

The bins had been placed right up against the front door and were overflowing. This wasn’t a fault of the owners. With it being Christmas I think others had used the bins. When I raised this to the owners they came and emptied the bins immediately and out the bins in their rightful place.

Very cozy place to stay only a 10-15 minute walk from the station and relatively central to a lovely town. Plenty of bedding, utensils etc. A wonderful little home!

Would recommend adding a whisk to the kitchen utensils, and the heating could take a little to kick in, the the main issue was that as we were foreign to England, we didn’t realise you had to lift the door handle to lock it, and when we tried to contact the owners upon check in (at 3pm), they didn’t respond for 5 hours. It would be recommended that owners are on hand for any issues around the window of check in time as it was a big concern for us.

The property is in a great location just off the market square, the apartment was silent all night and the beds are great so we had an excellent sleep. The facilities were good for the price, it was comfortable and cosy for a mid December stay, the central heating works really well.

We had a couple of important issues that we were disappointed to encounter given that everything else was great. We contacted the owner who replied quickly and they gave us the opportunity to address them and receive reimbursement for but we didn’t have the time to deal with either issue. It is a cheap stay so we didn’t expect too much but the issues were absolutely non-negotiable requirements. Based on the conversation with the owner I do believe these will be rectified, we could clearly see that previous review feedback had been actioned.

The apartment was adequate for our stay.

We were disappointed that we couldn't close the bathroom door without locking it, that the bedding wasn't ironed, and that there were no tea towels.

Not very nice toilet brush holder (rusty, therefore looked dirty).
