Location to rail station was a bonus for travelling into London. Restaurant had excellent menu and food at breakfast and evening was of a very good standard.

Shower was a bit difficult to position. Continental breakfast choice was limited.

We had an early start so did not have the breakfast.

The pillow were good but I like a softer pillow so not a issue just a preference.

All members of staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel has a lovely cosy, relaxed atmosphere with a traditional/modern vibe. Lots of cosy places to sit. Plenty of parking space. As well as the usual UHT milk in tubes there was a small thermos which you could get filled at the bar for your morning cuppa. My g&t was served just as I like it with lots of ice, in a big glass with cucumber slices - perfect!

Basin tap was a bit loose in our bathroom...
