"With a bit of extra care, it would’ve been a great stay!"

Overall, the stay was good and the place is as shown in the listing.

Just a few small things that were a bit inconvenient — some dishes were dirty when we arrived, one of the bedroom lights didn’t work, the toilet seat in the master bedroom was broken, and one of the bathrooms didn’t have any body wash. Nothing major, but worth mentioning.

"Exceptional"

We had a wonderful stay at River Palms Retreat during Waitangi Week. The location was perfect, peaceful and serene. The home was spacious and well-equipped, with all the amenities we could ask for. The home is right next to the river and it was lovely to see the waka going past. The owner lives close by and was incredibly helpful, always available to answer any questions we had, he even brought over some smoked tuna. We would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet, convenient getaway!
