We stayed in this cute traditional wooden house from the 1950s, and it was a wonderful experience. The place is cosy, very clean, and full of authentic charm. It had everything we needed (including a washing machine!) and was fully equipped. The highlights are definitely the sauna and the little library – both perfect spots to relax after a day out. We didn’t use the shed (although also very cosy) as it was raining so much. The surrounding area is lovely as well, very quiet, and we especially recommend the short hike up to Snolkehytte for a super cosy hut and absolutely stunning views. Our host was very attentive– he arranged that we could stay spontaneously and came to meet us on the first day. He showed us around his family home, and made us feel very welcome. Communication was easy throughout our stay, and we enjoyed it so much that we extended it for another night. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic stay!

We loved the charm of the house (it might not be everyone’s style if you are looking for something more modern) and we have absolutely nothing to complain!
