Propre. Terrasse agréable dans la chambre 2. Proche de la gare mais dans quartier agréable. 25 minutes de marche du centre historique mais sur une rue piétonne pleine de magasins, cafés, restos...

Relatively OK small room with internal bathroom. Approximately 15 minutes walk to Bari central train station. Several supermarkets on walking distance from 10-15 minutes. The management from Okey Homes and their representative (my contact person) Mr. Alessandro was disastrous. 1. Check in. If you do not have Italian telephone number, it is not possible to check in normally. The key box is on the 5th floor, but the main door of the building is closed. It could be open only distantly, if you telephone the Okey Homes representative. If you do not have Italian telephone number, you have two solutions. First to wait, somebody to exit from the building, or second to find some polite Italian to borrow his/her phone to call in order the front door to be open. I was waiting more than 40 minutes, until I found Italian phone to telephone to Okey Homes. They were informed in advance about the my time of arrival and that I will not have phone with Italian number, but they do not try to find any other solution. 2. Broken key from the entrance door. When I open the key box on the 5th floor I saw that one of the keys is broken. This was the key from the main door of the building. It was obviously that I will be not be able to leave the room and building. Because if I leave the building I will not be able to enter again. I phoned to the representative of Okey Homes using wi-fi and WhatsApp. Thankfully the number of representative of the Okey Homes has WhatsApp on his phone. I was waiting for the new key more than 3.5 hours. They ruined my first day of stay.

3. Toiletries. Although for the room on booking.com is written that there are free toiletries, there were only 3 small shampoos for single use for 13 days stay and 2 roles of toilette paper. I telephone to representative to tell him. He bring me only liquid soap after 2 days waiting. 4. Heating. It was heating only two hours a day. In the morning from 6-7 h, and in the evening from 19-20 h. 5. My food from refrigerator was thrown out. Although my food in the fridge was placed according the instructions from the Okey Homes the cleaning lady thrown it away . The reason was her incorrect information about the instructions from Okey Homes for storing the food. I phone to my contact person (Mr. Alessandro) from Okey Homes to inform him and to ask Okey Homes to compensate the thrown food (money or to buy new food. I give them details about the kind and quantity of thrown food). His impolite answer was: “It is enough. I have done more than it is expected for you. You could directly phone to Okey Homes”. I tried to contact directly Okey Homes, but it is only Italian number without Viber or Whats App. If you do not have Italian number you will never reach them. I tried several times to contact , to phone, the so-called “reception” which formally should have WhatsApp and to be reachable from 10-22 hour. Never, nobody answer to me. Okey Homes did not compensate the thrown food and I did not receive even and apologize, not from the representative Mr. Alessandro, not from the Okey Homes. 6. Check out. The cleaning lady start to knock on my door to leave the room 20 minutes before the official check out time 10 AM.
