Our room was fantastic, already booked to return. Very comfortable bed. Gorgeous view overlooking the river.

The bed was very comfortable. The food was delicious and the lady who looked after us at breakfast was extremely helpful, efficient and friendly. The outside areas were beautiful.

I was in one of the attic rooms and had loads of stairs and heavy doors to deal with. I felt the restaurant manager (male) whose conversation you couldn’t fail to hear was behaving inappropriately with the younger waitresses.

All the food was very good and view from dining room and terraces very nice indeed. The bar and dinning areas were clean and comfortable

The only issues were the main road outside is very busy with no footpaths so not a place for a walk and our room on the top floor overlooking the road has an old sash window which keeps no traffic noise out. Also the beer delivery arrived at 06.15 and the noise of the steel barrels being dropped off was very intrusive. Perhaps they could arrange a later delivery for pubs with rooms ?

Clean comfortable room,friendly very helpful staff ,breakfast good .Nice being able to have fresh milk as needed for hot drinks .
