"Relaxing. Plenty of places to visit within a relatively short car journey."

9.0

Good location. Quiet, rural feel and outlook yet literally 5 minutes walk to Reepham town centre. Large, open plan ground floor and well equipped. Lovely pub also 5 minutes away.

Location was great and easy to access places of interest with a car. Kings Head pub in village served excellent food (walking distance). Kitchen was really well equipped and the welcome pack was a nice gesture and appreciated. The cottage is old and quirky with a fabulous wood burner to keep us warm as it was chilly even on a late May evening. Downstairs loo and utility room were a bonus. Lovely view over fields with horses in.

Blinds not secured properly in two bedrooms and kept falling off. Had to clean bird poo and leaves from garden furniture upon arrival. Couldn't get heating to work (although we later read that we could have called the owners with any issues and to be fair, we didn't!). Neighbour / dogs a bit noisy at times.

Great location within easy walking distance of village, artisan coffee shops and pub. Lovely enclosed, safe garden for dog. Open views onto fields and horses. Great quality bed linen and towels. Very clean, warm and well equipped cottage.

The bedding is very good quality and very comfortable, though for a small person, all the pillows were quite big! It would have been nice to have had the option of a thinner pillow, although this didn't detract from our stay.

"Bar Lane Cottage is a haven with everything needed for a lovely stay."

9.0

The layout and comfort of the cottage. Everything was there to enable us to cook and eat a family meal together. Rooms were warm and cosy. It is in a lovely location too, ideal for walking and supporting village shops and cafes.

There isn't anything to dislike.

The cottage had absolutely everything you needed, it was very clean and there was even a lovely welcome pack! All bedrooms had beautiful views of fields and some horses, which was perfect! There was ample parking and plenty of outside space to enjoy the sun. Reepham is a beautiful place with very friendly people. All the shops you need are within easy walking distance from a direct path at the front of the house. There was plenty to see in the area and most outings seemed to be 15 - 45 minutes in the car, which was very manageable. I would definitely recommend this cottage.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like about this place!

"Classy cottage with a lot of thought gone into everything."

10.0

The cottage was delightful. So many quality touches, Denby mugs, homemade bread and cake and jam, butter, milk and wine provided to start us off, beautiful smelling handsoap in the downstairs WC, fab set of knives and fully equipped kitchen and utility. It was flawless and classy.

I'm not sure if it was another holiday maker or the permanent neighbours (!) but they made quite a bit of noise, with music and shouting at their dogs!!
