Everything was just what we required

absolutely stunning location. the views from the front room were just gorgeous. the house was very clean and well provisioned. super comfortable and excellent black out curtains which were very much needed given how much sun we got this weekend. the house instructions/ welcome pack was super detailed. the locals were really friendly and the local pubs and bars were excellent. quiet area, barely heard any neighbours or the flat upstairs. must dos- visit the local pubs just a short walk into rothesay centre and meet some of the locals, we had the best time and were made to feel so welcome everywhere we went. we did a tour of the island by ourselves and that was gorgeous, just stunning from every angle, but take a picnic and plenty drinks as we didn't pass many shops or cafes on the other side of the island.

a minor thing and not super important but I would recommend people bring their own towels. there were towels provided and plenty of them but they were a bit in the small side. I'm not a big girl and they barely covered my modesty. and something not in the hands of the hosts but I would recommend people bring food to cook. there are barely any restaurants still open past 6pm, and the pubs and cafes that are were on limited menus. the only place still serving after 6pm was called the jam jar and service was not good. our research before coming seemd to indicate plenty of places to eat but we didn't find that to be the reality sadly. there were takeaways available and they seemed to be open so if you don't mind a takeaway you might do better than we did. the local co-ops were well stocked though and the house had plenty cooking provisions so it wasn't a bother really but would want anyone coming to be more prepared than I was. And, to be fair, we had such a lovely time anyway and didn't starve.

Loved the location. Lounge has a big bay window to enjoy the costal view. Amazing sunsets. Very comfortable.

Shower temperature could have been hotter.

Great location with fantastic views across Rothesay Bay. The living room had a really comfortable sofa and a dining table. Kitchen was fabulous. It had more things in it than my kitchen at home. Bedrooms were comfortable and spotless with plenty of storage. Bathrooms were small but functional. Shower was great in en suite. The hosts were really helpful and the neighbours were nice and friendly. Walking distance to Rothesay along a flat road.

Lovely home with comfy lounge and even comfier beds. It had everything that you could think of that you might need.
