Lovely house, nice vibe and friendly host

Even before our arrival, Karin and Wolfgang made us feel very welcomed by offering their help and tips. the communication was super friendly and fast, and when we arrived they took the time to explain everything to us. It felt like visiting friends and was just the perfect ending of our trip through La Gomera. The place was super comfy, clean and we enjoyed the time ion their lovely and sunny terrace. We will definitely go back to this peaceful oasis if we’re back on the island!

Awesome stay as super friendly hosts. Karin and Wolfgang made the experience very special. We hiked up from Valle Gran Rey in the morning and had a lovely afternoon at Casa Tara. Well restored traditional house. Katrin has a great sense for decoration, making the place very cosy and relaxing. Well equipped and homey kitchen. Very happy that this place enabled us to stay in Hayas on our hike around La Gomera. Smooth communication. The village has a lovely cultural landscape. One of the two restaurants in walking distance, Casa Efigenia, is worth a detour on its own. Fantastic vegetarian food from local ingredients, very good value set menu. Casa Tara is highly recommended. Would come back.

We enjoyed our stay a lot! This beautifully and tastefully renovated house offers a peaceful and restful stay amid nature. Karin & Wolfgang are a very kind and charming couple, who welcomed us with open arms. We highly recommend and would love to come back!
