The Link Seoul, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Nice rooms and exceptionally good facilities in the common areas. The bathrooms are spacious and the beds are good.

The lights in the room are motion activated. Do not move in the bed unless you don’t want to turn on the lights (!) There’s a railway track right next to the hotel and you can hear the trains in the wee hours. The restaurant staff needs some training in customer service. They figured breakfast wasn’t included in my room rate. That’s fine, most hotels can give you a bill. These chaps, however, insisted on me stopping eating and coming to the cashier before continuing to eat. As a cherry on the cake they charged my credit card twice. Awkward. The front desk staff handled the situation professionally though.

The Link is centrally located to the transit network while not being in downtown Seoul. There are enough amenities nearby to make the stay pleasant. Sindorim station nearby is excellent.

Guro station nearby is not good from an accessibility perspective, and I don't think I was smart enough to use the window blind controls.
