We did not stay at this property they refused to give us a refund after they assured us they would honor our request because they couldn’t accommodate me and my family.

Convenient to convention center and other things to do

The part of the building that we stayed in was outdated. The outside needs work. There were items left behind in our unit from a previous guest. We didn’t get our pool and amenities bracelets until the 2nd day of our trip

The room and bathroom were clean and updated. The beach access was nice.

The room is described as “ocean front” but you actually have a view of the next hotel, the only view of the ocean is if you lean over the balcony and look to your left for a sliver of a “view”- that was misleading and disappointing. The room is right off of the parking garage, so you hear cars honking, locking, and screeching through the parking lot all night. Room isn’t sound proof either so you can hear people from the hallways and streets. They said there is “quiet hours” from 10-8, however that was clearly not the case. When we arrived and did our check-in inspection (we were told to let the “host” know if anything was broken or missing), we found that one of the light switches didn’t work, the mini fridge’s freezer was frozen over with someone else’s previously spilled liquids, and the bathroom vent did not work. I had to send multiple forms of proof (pictures and videos) upon check in, which went well into the night and next day of back and forth messages with the “host”- and nothing was ever done about it. It’s upsetting and gross to be expected to use a dirty fridge, and a bathroom without ventilation. If you took a shower the bathroom stayed steamy for quite sometime, and if you had to use the restroom for number 2, you had to go to the hotels bathrooms- which are also gross and dirty as well as wet from swimmers. The room gets hot in the middle of the night, though the system reads 68. The 2 pillows you get on the beds are very thin-so be prepared for a kinked neck. The hotel is kid friendly but definitely outdated. The pools have missing tiles, and the water is disgustingly hot under the shade. Kids are allowed in the hot tubs which is not pleasant. Parents let their kids run around this “resort” unsupervised as it is kid friendly. Trash and laundry is left in the hallways and under stairs, it’s an ugly site. There are much better kid friendly hotels to stay at, at much, MUCH better price tag.
