"The house is perfection and ideal for a girly get-together with everything for a comfortable stay."

10.0

Our stay was absolutely fantastic and ideal for my friends and I to get together and have a good catch up. Communication with the host was excellent. There was plenty of parking, and the house was easy to find and access via code. The property was spotless and clean. The beds were massive, and very comfortable and the bedding was so cosy and snug with very comfortable pillows. The living room was perfect, there were 5 of us and we could have easily fit more onto the sofa. There was plenty of room for us to chill out, have a few drinks and snacks and the table by the sofa was easy for everyone to reach. There were plenty of board games on offer which was a nice surprise too. The dining room was brilliant, so much room and very comfortable. The kitchen was spotless and a good supply of coffee pods, with a a HUGE fridge to put our groceries and drinks. There were plenty of cups, glasses, plates and bowls and a lovely view to wash up with (I think there's a dishwasher but my friends are odd and like to wash up!). I noticed as well a cute little jar of dog biscuits which I thought was a lovely touch for those staying with furry friends. The bathrooms were clean, with shower facilities both upstairs and downstairs, and a good supply of quality toilet rolls. One of my favourite parts of the property was the outside table in the garden. The table and chairs were excellent quality and one of the nicest parts of my weekend was sitting outside early in the morning, watching the sunrise with a nice fresh cup of coffee before everyone else woke up. The table was plenty big enough and I even noticed a BBQ next to it too! The view was stunning. Location was excellent also, we were maybe a 3 minute drive from Chester town centre with a petrol station and mini Asda (which had everything you would need) round the corner. I would have no hesitation hiring this property again, which we may well do next year as we enjoyed it so much we are planning to do it again next year.

The only thing I didn't like (which is incredibly trivial and totally my own personal choice) was the ice cube mould, I couldn't figure it out (admittedly didn't try very hard) and it made small ice cubes - but as I say it was very trivial because the fridge was so large we didn't even need to make any ice cubes! The only reason I've put this is because Booking.com wouldn't let me complete the form without putting something!

We are a large family ,we find it hard to book places large enough with space for us all, this exceeded what we were expecting ! The kitchen is so well equipped a real home from home ! Can't wait to return! Such a great base for surrounding areas and a lovely 15 mins stroll into Chester itself a beautiful friendly place 😊 highly recommend. Emma was really helpful and very quick to respond to any questions we had , thank you Emma.

"Perfect location for a Chester stay"

9.0

Great location, walk into Chester within 10 - 15 mins, but then walking back it was calm & peaceful and so quiet at the property. Loved the large settee it could take 6 of us, not all properties have that. There was also an outside table and comfy chairs which we made use of with the good weather. And a conservatory when it was raining. There were 3 large good double bedrooms, the 4th was basically just the double bed, no room down the sides but for one person they managed. The kitchen was well equipped, but as we only stayed for a long weekend we really only had breakfast at the house. There was a good takeaway just down the road and lots of eating places to choose from in Chester. The drive easily fit 3 cars which was useful and there was a space outside on the road if it was available. There wasn’t lots of empty spaces for parking on the road around.

The only thing slightly less perfect was the lack of water pressure in the downstairs shower, it worked, just not powerfully. But we managed and it wouldn’t put me off staying there again.
