Boutique Vera Hotel in the Heart of Folly Beach

Location was awesome. Though not on the ocean this hotel is within walking distance to all of downtown Folly. Vera has a cool, funky vibe just like Folly Beach itself. There is no staff on site but the young lady I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant and helpful. She was able to get me into my room over two hours before check-in time. I will definitely be staying here again!

"Neighbors" came home at 10pm and argued all night into the early morning. Cinder block walls do not retain noise at all. Customer service apologized and said they would be sure to make my next stay extra special...Unsure if I will return.

Location was great. Could walk everywhere we wanted to go. We enjoyed the pier, beach and several local restaurants. The room was very clean and in great condition.

I did not like seeing the price of the room and then when I go to reserve the room $50 is added to the price. Honestly when I book a room I expect cleaning to be included in the price. I almost did not book the room when I was the $50 add on. I don’t know if this is because of the sight we booked on or not

This place is so cool! There is a balcony off each room. There’s a big tree that partially obscures the view of the Circle K gas station next door. The parking is off site, but just a short walk from the hotel (about half a city block). You can walk to everything. The beach is a short walk with lots to see on the way.
