Farmstay at the Goat Shed Cottage, Spinlea Farm

This place is wonderful. It's a converted barn and it has so much charm and comfort. It's on a working Mohair farm set amongst and amazing backdrop. Quiet and comfortable . The host Neil and his wife went out of their way to accommodate us. Will definitely be back and can't recommend highly enough

The country side is just what our family needed! Excellent stay.

I’m genuinely baffled by the reviews calling this place "peaceful." I travel frequently, and this was by far the noisiest stay I’ve ever had. Sleeping here was nearly impossible—every ten minutes, the tin roof made a thunderous noise for reasons unknown (possibly animals or birds landing on it?). On top of that, loud crickets in the ceiling chirped non-stop throughout the night. The place was covered in cobwebs, furniture old and broken, no shower curtain etc. And despite specifically asking about curtains before booking, there were none. To make matters worse, we had confirmed a late check-out, yet the owner came banging on the door while my wife—standing in a curtainless living-area—was completely exposed. A truly disappointing experience.

Beautiful, quite place. We loved the ducks, goats and horses. Neil and Karen were wonderful hosts.

The location, the privacy and the surrounding land was just beautiful!

I really enjoyed it! If I had to nit pick, I would say a proper separation between bathroom and bedroom.
