The Coco House/Lone Star Dist/Jacuzzi/Golf Cart

Absolutely love the house!! Super cute!! Every design detail was perfect!! The back yard was the best part! We watched a movie and ate dinner relaxed and kicked back!! If u want a fun up beat place to stay then this is the place to stay. Will definitely bring the kids on our next stay!! Had lots of games for adults & kids!

master bedroom bed was unfortunately. It caved in the middle.

Fabulous place. Super-comfortable and clean! Lots of space and very charming decor. Southtown area was fun to explore as well.

Great, fun Coco (the movie) decor! This house is located in Southtown about 2 miles from downtown. The use of the golf cart made it perfect to go everywhere. Although driving on busy streets was scary at first. We did use Uber to and from the airport and at night. Cost was about $10-25/ride. A couple of people commented on this being an unsafe part of town, but we never felt nervous at all. We (two women) walked everywhere. The neighborhood is definitely changing - there are lots of brand new houses next to abandoned ones. It has an artsy vibe - murals, low key coffee places and restaurants within walking distance. Backyard is nice with TV, jacuzzi and couches. We also rented ebikes and rode south to the Missions National Historical Park - highly recommend. Cost of bike rentals is $25/day - look up location of stations. Little Em's Oyster Bar and Leche de Tigre are both Michelin recommended restaurants that are fairly close to the house - amazing food at both. H-E-B is the best closest market.

There was no organized welcome guide. I had done a lot of research in advance so it wasn't too hard for us. I left my notes for others who stay after us. I would recommend going to the information center downtown and picking up maps, etc. Also, research what you want to do and how you plan on doing it before you go. Also wondered if there were any restrictions on driving the golf cart around town?
