Entire -4 Bedrooms Detached House with Driveway

Gated driveway, lots of space for all of us!

In the mornings it felt cold downstairs

I was able to contact the business that runs the property via booking.com messages and they responded to major issues quickly

The guests are unable to control the heating/ temperature. The radiators were broken. The company did supply the handyman to try and fix this who came quickly. However guests should be able to operate the hearing or at least turnoff radiators in bedrooms. There was a water leak from bathroom upstairs which must have been long standing as staining and marks on ceiling and carpet and in downstairs shower room too. Dampness in bathroom and shower curtain. The towels in my room were not clean.

The property was very large and had a driveway to fit one car. Very quick response to the tv remote not working.

Sadly we had no control over the central heating and woke in the middle of the night very cold. However when we arrived at the property and it was cold the host turned the heating on when requested: just not a good option in the middle of the night.

Brilliant location, very clean and perfect for what we needed. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

There was plenty of space for the group.

The property was tired and needs attention. The furniture was basic and not very comfortable, beds and bedding was again tired and well worn, it could do with replacing. The owners need to look into doing some basic maintenance and repair work, the shower downstairs needs attention as they had tied a plastic bag over it to keep it in place and you could adjust the heat, making it very hot, to hot for the children to use. To top it off, the property was advertised as being dog friendly, however, when we arrived we were told dogs were allowed at £20 per night, with 2 small and very well behaved canines it put £80 on the visit for the 2 nights. All in all we considered the booking and the visit a mistake
