Lovely modern 1-bedroom apartment, free parking

The apartment was spacious, comfortable and extremely well stocked. The central location was great, as was the free parking, and a wonderful view of the beautiful Hallgrimskirkja.

A lovely apartment with a well stocked kitchen for self catering. Very warm and cosy. Great central location with free parking. Loved the shower. Washing machine was also very useful.

Sehr sauberes und gut ausgestattetes Appartment. Parken in der Tiefgarage. Zentrale Lage. Sehr an angenehm und sehr gepflegt. Alles was man braucht ist vor Ort. Klare Empfehlung. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Too much light leaked in around edges of bedroom window blinds. Not enough toilet paper rolls

Appartement lumineux, joliment décoré et très bien équipé. L'emplacement est également top et le fait d'avoir une place de parking très appréciable.

This is a large, well furnished apartment in an excellent location. It is a short walk to numerous eateries. It looks exactly like the photos on Booking. Car parking was a defintie bonus as there is no free parking nearby. There are a couple of small convenience stores next door, Euromart (small and a bit pricey) but we preferred 10-11 in Laugavagur, 4 mins away. It's open 24 hours and has a much wider range of fruit, bakery items and takeaways. You can also walk into the old town and harbour in about half an hour.

While the apartment was lovely for the most part, a few improvements would be: An iron and ironing board. (having been able to do laundry it was frustrating not to be able to iron anything) Better quality bed linen (very rough and mismatched) and new mattresses (old foam, not very comfortable) Blinds in the living area. We were there in May and it was very sunny, the flat got very hot and the windows don't open very far to let a breeze in. The contstant daylight made it hard to sleep. (although to be fair, I expect most of the time Icelanders want to keep the heat in, not out!)

Lovely place very good equipmented kitchen and friendly host. Parking spot available in the garage. Comfortable beds and quiet neighboors. Absolutely recommended.
