Podere Solatio - Tuscany Hills next to Florence

Exceptional stay in a peaceful Tuscan setting! We had a truly wonderful stay at Podere Solatio. The location is perfect — only 13 km from Florence, yet surrounded by nature and peaceful hills. It was the ideal base for exploring Tuscany while enjoying moments of calm and relaxation. The house is spacious and very well equipped, with 5 comfortable bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, and a lovely terrace and garden. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and we especially appreciated the fresh towels and linens. One of the best parts of our stay was the outdoor barbecue — we enjoyed delicious meals in the open air with beautiful views all around. A big thank you to Antonio, our host, who was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. He made us feel very welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. The private parking was also a big plus. Highly recommended for families or groups of friends who want to enjoy Tuscany in comfort, beauty, and tranquility.

The only small suggestion we would make is to consider adding screens to the windows, as insects can be a bit of a nuisance during the warmer months. It didn’t affect our overall experience, but it could make the stay even more comfortable.
