"A wonderful stay and holiday in Portscatho . Would definitely come back next year."

Location was amazing and cottage exceeded expectations.

Oven door didn’t shut properly and a small leak in bathroom but they didn’t prevent use.

A lovely character cottage in a beautiful part of the world. Easy access to local beaches.

The road can be very busy, so having windows open at night to keep cool is not an option if you are a light sleeper. I bought a small fan that overcame the problem. The place is dog friendly, but with the busy road, you need to keep a close eye on them.

Lovely clean rooms and comfortable beds

A fair bit of road noise - but we expected that

"Fantastic stay, would highly recommend it"

10.0

We liked everything about the cottage, it was very comfortable and spacious, and the welcome pack on arrival was a lovely touch.

There wasn't anything not to like, the only thing we felt could be looked at, was a 4 piece toaster as the cottage sleeps 6 people. A tea pot and a full length mirror in the ensuite bedroom.

"Great find, just what we were looking for."

10.0

What a lovely find! Cuckoo's Nest is a traditional Cornish cottage obviously newly refurbished - the bathrooms/showers were great. We had everything we needed in the kitchen as it was a self-catering holiday and the owner left a lovely welcome hamper which was completely unexpected! The owner was very friendly and helpful. The local pub in Portscatho, The Plume of Feathers, is about 30 minutes walk away and well worth the walk - the food is excellent and very busy even out of season so booking is essential.

There was nothing to not like about the place - we are a group of bikers and turning the bikes around on a gravel driveway is always a bit of a chore but off-road parking on a large driveway is always an absolute must for us so that makes it ok.
