The apartment was compact with all essentials. Comfy bed. The host even provided fresh fruit and water as a welcome gift upon check in.

The house keeper forgot to add a toilet roll and turning on the hot water for the shower wasn't obvious but the host was reponsive. She told me where the spare toilet paper was and gave me instructions on how to operate the hot water so in the end it wasn't a big deal. When someone books, it might be a good idea to send them written instructions on how to operate the shower or provide these instructions in the bathroom.

Too small unit

The unit has almost everything that you need. I've stayed for 2 weeks and everything was very handy. Check in was smooth and the host was very responsive and helpful. Malls, restaurants and transportation are accessible. Overall, I've enjoyed my stay in this unit.

Security tightness in regards to guest visitors

I appreciate the host for accommodating my request to add a laptop table and a hair dryer in the unit. I'm glad there is also an extension cord available. The internet is fast when you connect to their wifi. But if you use your own mobile data, it is relatively slow most of the time. I've tried with Globe, Smart and Dito.

I booked this unit for 2 weeks and I was looking forward to a pleasant stay because of the positive reviews. But I was disappointed starting from my first day there. It's not as well-maintained as I had expected. 1. No proper exhaust fan. The one in the bathroom does nothing to remove any smell and it's very loud and noisy. There's no separate switch for it so if you turn on the lights in the bathroom it will automatically turn on too. The rangehood does not have a vent and it does nothing to remove odors too. When I turned it on, the smell of adobo filled the kitchen and I haven't even cooked anything at all. I don't know if they cleaned the rangehood or changed its filter. It does the opposite of what a rangehood is supposed to do. Be careful not to open the cabinet under the stove as it will emit a foul odor from the cleaning tools stored there. No other way to expel the smell quickly other than to let it pass after a long time. 2. The utensils were not properly cleaned and washed. There was a spoon that still had hardened food on it. The cooking ladles felt a bit greasy while the pots and pans still smelled of food. I found it discouraging to cook given the condition of the rangehood and utensils. Even the handle of the water heater is a bit oily. I couldn't imagine what more of the bread toaster and other small kitchen appliances they had there. I doubt they're being maintained. The soap tray on the sink was also not cleaned well. I could see traces of dirt that were not scrubbed. 3. Water floods the surrounding area of the sink all the way to the area around the stove even though I just use the sink normally and don't spill or splash water outside. There seems to be something wrong with the way the sink has been installed. 4. Walls are thin. You can hear all sorts of noise and sound from other units especially when people are talking. Their conversation is audible. 5.
