Encanto y elegancia en el corazón de San Miguel

This a brand new apartment and had everything we needed. It is in a nice neighborhood with mostly locals. There are little shops to pick up fresh pastries and water nearby. We found nice cafes in the neighborhood as well. It is an easy walk to the central part of the city. There are lovely murals in the area.

Our biggest issue with the property was communication. We had not been given the entry codes the day we were arriving and had to request them. Thankfully we got them before we arrived from a person who had sent a Whatsapp message. In the middle of our stay the outside door code stopped working. We tried to message and call the contact we had received and it seems that our messages were never read. We then looked up the Booking.com phone number and got a person who did not speak English. After a little while someone from inside the building let us in. She said they change the code every two weeks and gave us the new code. This poor communication is unacceptable and changing the code without letting the guests know shows lack of professionalism. We had waited outside the building for nearly an hour. The pictures show the rooftop but the gate to the rooftop is locked. We asked if we could use it but got no response. The area is noisy with cats, dogs, garbage trucks and music, so if you are sensitive to noise this may not be your place.

The little details made it so amazing 🥰 Kitchen supplies like coffee , dish soap, creamer, sugar , water bottles…. Made our stay so enjoyable. When you go on vacation for a short period of time you don’t think about those supplies, and it’s so nice to wake up and know that there’s coffee creamer and sugar provided to you by the host. We didn’t have to go out of our way. Looking for a grocery store. Instead, we could start our day exploring immediately.

I have no complaints

The apartment we stayed at was huge and modern. The building may look a bit odd from the outside but inside is renovated/modern. The bed was very comfortable and AC wasn’t needed. The location was also pretty nice, just a few blocks from the busy downtown area.

No AC or fans. Although I stayed there in the winter and it wasn’t needed, I’ve been to SMA in the summer and it does get pretty hot. Also, within the faucets or showers, the hot took a very long time to start running.
