Modern, Sea Themed Ground Floor Flat Near Beach

Location was great & the bedroom was lovely

Not keen on the wet room There was no bin bags to sort recycling

First impressions very nice. Modern kitchen and bathroom. Mostly clean. Kitchen well supplied with utensils and cleaning materials.

Main problem was nowhere to put anything in the bathroom. It could do with some shelving. Cleaning: fabric sofa needed cleaning, couple of plates had been put away wet and a bit dirty. One cushion had chocolate (I think) over it. I cleaned it and the arm of the leather sofa. Not good having the mop and bucket etc behind the kitchen door. Possibly the cause of the smell. Door ledges needed a good clean. Door mat needed washing. Outside parking area needed a good clean, the large dustbin was over flowing.

A lovely place to stay in a great location with very communicative hosts.

Some noise from the apartment above but this didn’t spoil my experience. I couldn’t get the dishwasher to work but that could just be me & oven needs a good clean. Not a criticism but more of a suggestion. It would be really useful to put a broom in the apartment especially when you have a pet. I would have liked to swept the sand up from our visits to the beach.

Plenty of space for two people. Well decorated and clean on the whole. Comfortable bed. Quite nice if there's nobody in the upstairs flat

It was too hot despite turning radiators down. Thermostat wasn't working. There was no dishcloth or sponge for washing up. We couldn't find any chopping boards or a bread board. There was only one bedside lamp. The emergency torch didn't work. There were no food waste caddy bags. The TV wouldn't get any of the catch up streaming services. The toothbrush holder was dirty at the bottom. You could hear the TV in the upstairs flat.

Comfortable bed and pillows, nice large rooms, parking space, location, available to book for just two nights.

Sound insulation issues due to apartment above having loud music/party late at night and also a lot of noise coming through internal locked door in corner whenever upstairs neighbours came in and out of their front door as it seemed as though there was just a locked internal door between us and their entrance hall.

Close to the town. Very well situated. Very homely.

(Not dislikes but minor issues) - no toilet roll - Had to shower low pressure due to a split spitting out to the bathroom door.
