"Pictures were deceiving."

Location

Not a king bed as advertised, it was 53 inches wide. Mattress uncomfortable due to wear. Sofa falling apart, large dent in cushion, arm falling off. Needs maintenance, walls scuffed. Torn up mattress in the stairwell.

Die Konversation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr zuverlässig. Die Wohnung und alle Zimmer waren sehr geräumig und sauber, die Betten äusserst bequem. Die nahe Lage zum Bahnhof und zum Zentrum ideal. Ein schöner Park mit grossen Bäumen direkt auf der Hinterseite des Hauses. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

"Great value, great location, free parking!"

The location of this place is truly awesome which is why we booked it. There's a washing machine which is really handy when you've been travelling for 4 weeks, an iron and an ironing board which is great! Free parking is always a bonus!

Would be nice to offer a hair dryer at the property because travellers from other countries often don't have a hair dryer with a British plug. I had to go and buy a new one to stay here. The sofa in the lounge isn't that comfortable. I think it's a bit old now and has lost it's spring. The showerhead in the ensuite seems to be broken as you cannot slide it up the pole anymore so it's very low for tall people. Some nice wine glasses wouldn't go unnoticed ;)

Location

Spare room was not made up and linen and towels were stored. Heating was not on a thermostat so took ages for the place to heat up. Overall the property looked tired and run down.

the location is amazing. They don't tell you in the info how good this place is - It's really lovely!!

It was a bit chilly, but the hosts were very quick to get back to me to show me how to turn the heating up!
