Loads of space. Plenty to keep the kids amused with the pool table etc. good location. Staff excellent and friendly. Good value for money

A lot of the rooms are tired and could be done with some small refurbishments. The view out the kitchen window was a sea of food waste from the Indian restaurant below. Not ideal

I felt extremely unsafe and uncomfortable during my stay. The surrounding area didn’t feel secure, and the listing was misleading as no exterior photos were shown. Sunday morning a man banged aggressively on the door saying he needed to be let in to fix a loose cable in the bedroom — something that should have been addressed before guests arrived. We had no idea whether he was genuine or trying to enter the property, which was frightening. Inside, the accommodation was poorly maintained: a visible gap between the wall and window let strong curry smells from the takeaway below seep into the property, leaving all our clothes smelling. A curtain rail fell and hit me on the head, the boiler made extremely loud vibrations between 3–5 a.m. keeping us awake, and the bedding was stained, raising serious hygiene concerns. At checkout, a stranger suddenly turned up with the property key whilst we were searching for it before our checkout time, which felt extremely unsafe for four girls staying alone. The owner also took a £200 deposit, and given the number of issues, I felt I had to wait until it was returned before raising a complaint because I was worried they might try to blame us for something. When I finally reported everything, they didn’t dispute any of the problems I mentioned — they simply refused a refund because it wasn’t raised within 24 hours. I explained that health and safety issues don’t come with a time limit and have now raised this with Booking.com and my bank. Overall, the property felt unsafe, unclean, and very poorly managed. Do not stay here.

It clearly wasn’t finished and wasn’t cleaned. Dust everywhere. Pots of paint left out. No blinds in any of the rooms which was a big issue for sleep. Boiler wasn’t turned on and had to fix issue ourselves.
