Cosy Oasis In Vilnius Old Town by Reside Baltic

The location was very good, a nice walk from the historical center, a couple of very nice restaurants nearby and a quick drive to the airport

We went with high expectations judging from the pictures. Sadly, even though the place has a lot of potential, at the moment it is in need of repairs to achieve a high standard of accommodation. The building is very very old and the apartment even though renovated is already showing a lot of signs of damage. Holes on the walls, broken shelves and most importantly a very uncomfortable bathroom. In my opinion using wallpaper next to the bathtub instead of tiles was a very bad decision. There are watermarks everywhere and the sewage system overflows everytime one flushes the toilet bringing out a very unpleasant smell and flooding the bathtub with unclean water. Except from the structural issues mentioned also the general state of cleanliness of the place was very questionable. Spots on the couch, mold under the bathroom rug and hair everywhere. Also when we first arrived the bathroom hadn't obviously been cleaned from after previous tenants as there was trash in the bin and waste in the toilet.. after contacting the property an answer came on the second day of our stay saying that a cleaning person could be sent to take care of the bathroom. Of course we had already cleaned the bathroom ourselves with the available cleaning products as we couldn't have used it beforehand otherwise. Generally a lot of things have to be taken care of in this apartment in my opinion before it continues to host people especially when they ask for such high prices and an additional deposit when booking!!! 🙃

Good location.

Not like photos. It is a very old, falling apart apartment, that was designed, especially to make good photos. In reality, it is super uncomfortable and stinky. The bathroom is terrible. It is old and not like on a photo. Paint is falling off the wall, and every time you flush the toilet, your organic waste comes up in the bathtub. Apartment owner said that it is normal and I just need to wash off my shit from the bath tub after. Also, that stinks a lot. You feel a strong sewer smell. And also the whole apartment smells. You cannot get rid of this smell of an old, badly maintained apartment. The floor is very very old and terribly squeaks each time you make a step. Super noisy. When we moved in, there were around seven broken things in the apartment. The door, the fridge, window curtains, and so on. We spent full first day with the construction worker that was fixing everything. I suppose, it shouldn’t be that way. Also, the apartment is very cold and noisy. It was summer, but still it was cold. Seems that the old windows pass the air through. Also, you will hear each car passing by when you’re trying to sleep. Honestly, that was the worst experience of an apartment booking.

A beautiful, stylish, clean place in a great location, few minutes walk from Vilnius old town. Check in was easy. The hosts were really helpful and the whole stay went smoothly. Highly recommend.

Too loud ventilation system

Very nice, clean and cozy apartment. There is everything that is necessary for vacation. Good location. Host responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.
