Spence Lodge Cosy 2-Bed Stone Cottage, Alnmouth

Everything - especially the cleanliness mainly due to Mandy who , after cleaning for our arrival had to repeat after a 'rogue' pigeon visited !!!! Lovely lady and very thorough.

Location and decor

Bathroom extraction fans were not working

Great location The apartment was well kitted out with modern bathrooms and good showers. The kitchen had most things you would need . There is a lovely outdoor seating area and private parking

There isn't a freezer so we didn't have ice for our drinks

We loved the location, the super comfy beds, the walk in shower, the pressure of the shower was amazing, and the lively homely feel of it all.

Cant really think of anything we didn’t like

Excellent location - we only book places with private car parking which this had (although you might struggle if you have a big car). The property was large and finished to a high standard. There were books, dvds and games. Loads of places to eat nearby and lots of walks.

We had to take out own wood for the fire which was a bit odd. Also, although they left us a bottle of prosecco there was no milk! After a long drive, I want a cup of tea. Luckily we had arrived early enough to pop to the shop down the road.
