City centre, Top floor apartment, Two balconies

Great location, spacious apartment and very comfortable bed. If there wasn't any work going on, this would be a great place to stay.

UPDATE TO THIS REVIEW - Since writing this the owner has called and messaged me calling my review nasty and asking for his refund back! His attitude and conduct is unbelievable. Workmen drilling at 8am and looking in to the apartment via the balcony doors! Do not stay here if you want a nice view, privacy and peace. Despite being told there was some scaffolding around the building, we did not expect how extensive this actually was. Not only is there no balcony to use whatsoever but the scaffolding completely obscures the view. One of the main selling points of the property is the view, so to not be able to enjoy that was very disappointing. I booked this 2 months ago for my birthday getaway. It was to be mine and my partner's last holiday before the arrival of our first child so it was a very important and special trip. I chose a top floor apartment instead a hotel in the hopes of guaranteed peace and quiet, and privacy. At 8am we were woken by loud banging and drilling. We wanted to enjoy a nice breakfast at the table in the kitchen/living area but workmen were right outside the balcony doors so we had to keep all the blinds closed. Not only did we feel we had no privacy but the noise was very disruptive so we decided to leave and eat out but this completely ruined the plan we had for my birthday and I found the whole experience really upsetting. I spent half the day having back and forth messages with the owners of the apartment who told me they would only refund me for one night. With it being half term finding alternative accommodation was impossible. If I'd had prior warning I would have changed my travel plans. Saying that there was some scaffolding was not the whole truth - that does not imply that you cannot see out the windows, nor have the blinds open. It also does not say that there is ongoing work from early in the morning.

Very nice apartment in a great location - 9th floor, though scaffolding was obscuring the view while I was there. Good sized accommodation, everything clean and in good working order. Comfy bed.

A few let downs. The bedroom curtain (and curtain rail) ended up on the floor because the flimsy plastic curtain rail couldn't hold the heavy curtain. I did manage to get it back up with a bit of trouble. The TV (Rakuten?) couldn't seem to receive BBC or Sky. Couldn't get the coffee machine to work - even after downloading instructions from the internet. No dishcloth provided. Quite minor issues, was still happy with overall experience

Beds were comfy, building was secure, location was idea, right around the corner from the Shudehill tram stop and walkable to everywhere in the city. Free wifi was more than enough to stream content on. Host was very friendly and willing to answer all questions during the stay.

Low shower water pressure, only one radiator for the very large lounge/kitchen/hallway space so it did not heat up very well. The lounge door exited straight onto the apartment building hallway so noise privacy was a concern. No mirror in the main bedroom to do hair and makeup in. No large glasses/cups in the kitchen was also an oversight. Main downside was that when I stayed, this building was under renovations so I got woken up at 8am both days due to powertools drilling into the wall. This also meant that the usual balcony was unavailable due to scaffolding.

The apartment was everything we needed. Was clean, comfortable and very cosy. The beds are comfortable and the apartment was warm. The host kept in touch with us for checking in and gave us clear instructions how to do this. Equipped with all the cooking utensils, kitchen roll and tea towels for the kitchen. Close to the Arndale Centre and AO Arena. Perfect thank you.
