Vicolo Al Castello - Langhe e Monferrato Suites

This is a newly renovated duplex, plus a little top floor balcony with views over the rooftops, tucked away under an archway in the shadow of a huge castle. The interior is thoughtfully designed, with sleek contemporary fittings under the ancient brick arches. The host is very attentive and informative, and we were kindly met with the keys by his mother. We were able to stay with our dog - always a positive point. There is an excellent restaurant in the vineyards, Radici, ten minutes’ drive away.

There’s very little not to like. There’s only one bathroom, which was fine for us but might be irksome for more guests. The design is perhaps a bit spartan, and more could - and probably will - be made of the middle room, currently nearly empty apart from a spare bed.

Newly renovated and very stylish and clean property. The host has gone to a lot of trouble to provide a beautiful space and nice welcoming touches. The property is spacious, even though some aspects are shared with other guests (kitchen and living area), there is ample privacy and peace and quiet. The village is very pretty and there are many beautiful places to visit in the surrounding area. There is an awesome wine bar and restaurant nearby, but we also used the kitchen and made a lovely meal to enjoy on the terrace enjoying the view as well. Parking is also easy.

We had an amazing stay, beautiful and newly renovated appartment. The host Luca is really helpfull. Finally the area had enough history and authenticy to offer for those who look for it.

Everything was OK

Our stay at Casa al Vicolo al Castello was truly unforgettable. The casa feels like a lively home, relaxing, clean, and very peaceful and beautiful and the breathtaking views of Monferrato and Langhe are very stunning view from the casa. The warm welcome of the wonderful owners- Luca, Antonella, and Renato made our stay truly special. They treated us like an extended Italian family, showing us such genuine kindness. It was an absolute pleasure to meet them, and we were especially touched when they visited us on our last day with thoughtful gifts of local wine and delicacies from Costigliole d'Asti. They are very lovely, kind and welcoming, wonderful owners. For breakfast, Antonella prepared a delightful spread of local delicacies, and wrote some lovely notes for us. and we savored every single bite! Vicolo al Castello is so much more than just a place to stay; it's a home, made incredibly special by the wonderful people who run it.♡ We left feeling so refreshed, inspired, and incredibly grateful for the connections we made here. Apartment was amazing, clean and comfortable. Luca and Sara was so friendly and helpful, they made my stay unforgottable. Everything that need for perfect stay, even if you prefer to cook come home food all facilities and kitchen stuff are available. Location is perfect near the Castle, in one minute walk from shops, restaurants and local sighthings. I would happy to come back some day❤️
