Newly Renovated 2-Bed near Downtown-North Shore

It fit us comfortably and it was okay for 1 night. In the morning it looked better. The house was renovated inside and main bathroom was nice.

We arrived at night and the streets and neighborhood looked scary and worn out. House was not properly clean, we removed our shoes at arrival but our socks were all brown after a few minutes. There were cockroaches in the kitchen and in the main floor. The second bathroom was in the basement and too cold to be used. Pictures were updated after we had booked and they were deceiving previously. Bed sheets were wrecked.

Nothing. The neighborhood was dark and unsafe- looking, the smell of cheap pot was oppressively thick, the outside of the house was run down and dirty, there was no place to park. We did not even get out of our car.

The neighborhood, the dishonest description and photos, the refusal of the owner to work with us on some kind of a resolution for misleading us about this property.

2 bathroom

No allocated parking space, smell inside the house, and outside is filthy. I am not so happy with the stay. I was about to find new place to stay but it was too late, past midnight and I had no choice but spend night there. We woke up so early and hit the road in the morning. We did not have a good sleep. I think it is not suitable for families with kids, stairs are too steep and dangerous to move up and down. It’s renovated inside, and the owner tried to do his best to makeover a very old property. I would not stay there or book that property at all if I had viewed street view via google. I did not feel safe or comfortable when I arrived there, the surrounding was not pleasant. Both bed and floors were too squeaky. If possible, I would ask for money back with booking.com. Thank you booking.com for organising this property for our stay. Please review and check the properties in the future, I did not except this types of properties from booking.com.

It was close to the city and the mirror in the bathroom was nice

It wasn’t the cleanest and they didn’t even have extra blankets? They don’t have any extra supplies incase you forget something. They also don’t have any plastics plates that aren’t broken
