Los Barqueros 23 by Best Holidays Fuerteventura

I love this complex. The accommodation was a good size. Bed was comfortable.

I spoke to 2 different people at Best Holidays, Gemma who seemed pleasent and helpful, and Valentina whos comments on the cockroach situation are following. On arrival I had not been given proper instructions how to open the front door. I managed through trial and error but then could only enter through the patio doors until they had inspected and done something to the door. I still couldnt get in and the maintenance man came back and had to show me how to get in. General maintenance appaling. had not been deep cleaned when i arrived, marks in shower and outside table filthy. Large gaps at side and under door causing problems with cockroaches. When I expressed my concern Valentina commented "maybe not everyone is as frightened of cockroaches as you" like it was my attitude and not the cockroaches that were the problem. They sent someone called Jorge to fill the gaps, he was quite rude and abrupt. Cracking plaster, broken shelf in fridge, dirty shower heads, leaking boiler with a pot underneath to catch drips.

We have stayed in various different apartments at Los Barqueros previously & we love the location We also love the presence of the cats & fed 2 of them for the week

Ligging, ondanks drukte aan de hoofdstraat, was de locatie overal dichtbij

Enorm verouderd, gaten in de muur, terrastegels kapot en buiten niet bijgehouden. Kozijnen kaal, etc. Wel schoon.

De locatie was geweldig. Dichtbij alles wat je nodig hebt voor een fijne vakantie. Ook het zwembad was mooi en schoon. De bedden lagen ook erg lekker.

Het zou helpen als er een schutting om het terras geplaats wordt, er is erg weinig privacy. Het geluid van dronken mensen op straat geeft in de nacht wel wat overlast ( maar dat was vooraf bekend wetende dat het appartement aan de hoofdstraat zit

Big pool and spacious apartment. Location is excellent, 2 minutes to the beach, few more minutes are you’re in the centre. And a small market just over the road for water etc

Not a major concern for us as our child is only 1 year so always accompanied in the pool, however there is a very big drop off in the middle of the pool and with no lifeguards I would be constantly concerned for older children

Apartment well furnished. Comfy beds. Great location except on main road. Size of rooms and swimming pool. Everything was clean and worked well. Close to restaurants and shops and beach. Generally quiet during day and evenings

Noisy at night with people returning form clubs all night till 4am as on main road, so hard to have a full night’s sleep. East facing patio, so lack of sun in the evenings.

The property is in a great location, very clean and comfortable, paintwork needs freshening up but the place is spotless. Colette who deals with the letting of the property was fantastic. She got the light outside the entrance fixed for us the very same day we reported it to her. Also got us a later checkout, so thanks Colette. The pool area is spotless too and always lots of sun-beds and the maintenance guy cleaned the pool and area every day we were there. We will definitely return

Location good. Beds comfortable.

Condensation on bottom of all walls due to lack of waterproofing when being built. Street could be somewhat noisy at night.
