Bumble Choo Cottage - Windermere, Lake District

Very nicely fitted cottage with everything of high quality

The only slight difficulty was one of the guests with mobility issues struggled without downstairs Toilet, but appreciated it was not physically possible to put one in.

Perfect location for us. Beautifully decorated. Really warm in the chilly weather.

We could have done with having a dish cloth, perhaps some kitchen roll/napkins. The shower I used (en suite next to dining room could do with a deep clean, as the grout had black mold spots. Sealant was ok, but grout was a little grim). We couldn’t figure out keys to front door, so could only use the back door entrance (even if we just popped to local shop)

The property was excellent & in an ideal location for Windermere & surrounding areas.

The log burner was really lovely & made cost evening in perfect

Comfortable beds, lovely log burner, great location.

Heating was a little hit & miss as we couldn’t really fathom out how it worked but the log burner kept us nice & cosy in the lounge during the evenings.

The location is superb, just a few steps from the heart of Windermere and Windermere train station, great for travellers who drive or use public transport. Easy access to supermarkets like Coop and Sainsbury's, got enough utensils to make your own meal inside. Lots of board games and books so even if it's raining, you can have a good time in the house.

The dining room is located on the first floor while the kitchen is in the basement, which makes the logistics quite complicated. The parking area is not too visible, especially the fence next door is missing.

Bumble Choo cottage is very comfortable, cosy and decorated with great care. Both the location and property are superb.
