"Excellent stay in a tropical paradise."

Everything was great. Well maintained, clean and an excellent location to explore the north side of the island from. The hosts are friendly and have things nicely arranged and extra items for use such as folding chairs for outdoors, a beach umbrella and a small cooler. If we come back to the big island any time in the future we’d definitely stay here again.

Nothing negative to report, we had absolutely no issues during our stay.

Hawaii doesn't have the greatest housing stock but this room and home is well constructed with insulation and good windows and climate appropriate concrete floors. I found it a perfect base to explore the north side of the island from and slept well in the spacious and comfortable bed. The kitchen is new and well equipped and cooked a few dinners there.

A solar LED light outside to mark the path to the door might help. Nights are dark!
