"My stay at AJ's place in Cutler Bay was absolutely fantastic! They call this place the Good Luck House, and it certainly lived up to the name – I found my own place within days of leaving. AJ was an amazing host – so welcoming and helpful. The house has a really unique, interesting vibe, filled with amazing art and interesting artifacts. AJ is even willing to sell some of the paintings! I'd been struggling to find a place for months, but two days after arriving at the Good Luck House, everything fell into place!" The quiet- the amazing hospitality- the beautiful atmosphere of this place as if you were in the keys! N of course the price!! I brought my doggie - she loved the fenced in yard! That you can cook yourself- they give you all the amenities outside of cooking for you!! It’s an amazing place to be with or with out children n local to everything the town has to offer!!

This place was absolutely filthy and unsafe. The AC was a tiny window unit, completely caked with dust and mold. The walls had visible water damage throughout, and the place was infested with fire ants and roaches. My son woke up covered in fire ant bites. The bed was broken, so we had no choice but to move furniture into the closet area just to put an air mattress on the floor. By morning, my husband — who has had five open-heart surgeries and is still recovering from a toxic mold exposure six months ago — was struggling to breathe. Whatever is in that place is dangerously toxic, and no one should be staying there. I politely messaged the host to explain the situation and requested a refund for the second night. Instead of taking responsibility, he was extremely rude, dismissive, and accused me of "reaching" because he supposedly has "good reviews." When I told him I had pictures to prove everything, he accused us of "destroying" the property — even though we checked in at 2 AM and left at 8 AM, only moving broken furniture to make space for an air mattress. This property should not even be listed. If you look at the reviews, you’ll see people have been complaining about the same exact problems for YEARS, and nothing has been fixed. Booking.com only refunded me $45 out of the $200 I paid, but I will be disputing the charge through my bank and contacting the health department and building inspector immediately. It’s also obvious the owner is well aware of the infestation — there were ant and roach traps scattered around the floor — yet they continue to rent this unsafe, disgusting property to unsuspecting guests. Stay far away from this place.

This beautiful Bungalow was the perfect spot for my sister and I to reconnect and recharge. It was centrally located near so many wonderful places to visit, yet private, tucked away, and serene. We really loved the vibe. We had everything we could possibly need surrounded by a private, picturesque garden. Our host was warm and communicative without being intrusive and thought of every detail we could possibly need for our stay. We highly recommend this property and will definitely return the next time we are in the area.
