Contemporary 1 Bed Apartment, In Central Buxton

Spotless flat, cosy and central. Everything you need for any length of stay. Fantastic communication and recommendations from the owner. Would recommend

Particularly liked that there were big mugs and, having arrived on a very chilly day, that a blanket was available on the comfy sofa. The Christmas tree was a lovely festive touch. Location very convenient for the Devonshire Dome where I was attending The Battle of Ideas Festival.

Ticking clocks - sorry but I had to take the batteries out.

Great location. Really easy and responsive communication with host. Place was really well equipped and clean and tidy.

The only thing I would say is that there wasn’t anywhere obvious for recycling. We cooked at the property (very well equipped kitchen) but couldn’t find any instructions for recycling/waste etc.

Excellent location near to shops and local attractions. Apartment was clean and comfortable and furnished to a high standard. There were plenty of games, books, dvds and information about local attractions, days out etc.. Communication with the host was good and there was easy access the property.

There wasn't really anything we didn't like. As the apartment is really central, it' was bound to be a bit noisy first thing as shops get ready to open but Catherine had provided disposable earplugs for light sleepers so she had considered everything.

The property is finished to a very high standard with a very comfortable bed. The apartment had everything you need to cook meals in! The location of the property was perfect as you could walk to restaurants and local pubs and only a short drive away from lots of beautiful walks. Catherine was a brilliant host and answered any questions we had very quickly. I highly recommend this apartment to stay in when visiting the Peak District.
