Location, not faraway from city center, air conditioning, all basic necessities provided.

As soon as we entered the apartment, we noticed a strong smell of cigarette smoke. As non-smokers, it was very unpleasant and made it clear someone had smoked inside before. Unfortunately, several aspects of the stay made us uncomfortable and eager to leave early. The most disturbing was the peephole camera that recorded every time we entered or left the apartment — it’s motion-activated and clearly monitored by the host. If you touch the button on the inside (even by mistake), the host immediately writes on WhatsApp, accusing you of interfering with the “intercom” system. He gave us five minutes to "fix" it or threatened to come over — and did show up anyway, insisting we pay for his taxi, even though everything was working fine. While he initially agreed the payment would be covered via Booking, he later claimed we refused and demanded cash. The apartment had the basics, but everything felt extremely cheap. The fridge was very loud, and we could clearly hear conversations from neighboring units. Another serious concern: the host requested copies of our IDs via a personal Gmail address, claiming it was part of a “formal process.” There was no proper explanation regarding GDPR or data security. Only later did we learn that Booking strictly prohibits this kind of data request outside their platform. Overall, a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience. I would not recommend staying here.

Instructions how to pick the keys was clear and easy. Studio on the top floor (12th floor) was nice, simple, clean. There was nice view of Petrzalka and forest from the studio and a nice view of Bratislava castle from the communal hall.
